Every first Tuesday of the month, The Senior Station has a special celebration for all those who have their birthdays during that month. Today we celebrated the March birthdays with cake and song.; and Miriam and Nihal were thrilled as their new friends at The Senior Station greeted them heartily.

We also decided to challenge our memories with different games that forced us to remember details that were thrown our way. A simple ball game for example helped us map who was in the room and where. Then there was that timeless memory game  – ‘We Are Going To The Market To Buy……’ Dolly had everyone foxed as she sped through various items on the marketing list. After more words games and mind-benders, we all relaxed and mingled over cups of tea, delicious treats from Paan Paan and of course yummy chocolate cake.

Today was our first day at the new premises. Here onwards our sessions will take place at the Ladies College Vocational Centre.
